Since 1998 Rainforest Foods has been committed to producing quality products from Australian rainforest fruits and spices. We work with farmers in the sub-tropical hinterland around Byron Bay in northern NSW to create small, sustainable orchards of native rainforest trees and shrubs from which we produce world-class jams, sauces and macadamia nut products.
Rainforest Foods is a pioneer in the evolving Australian native food industry. Our passion for conservation and regeneration of the Australian rainforest has resulted in the planting and harvesting of an extensive range of native food plants in the Byron Bay region for over 15 years. Our 'Green Good Deed' programme also donates to the wonderful Rainforest Rescue to help fund the replanting of native rainforest and the conservation of critical Australian rainforest habitat.
Through our delicious range of gourmet native food products, Rainforest Foods aims to raise awareness of the quality food-value of our native plant species. We acknowledge that most of us find it difficult to conserve and direct resources for the benefit of the next generation, and of the world around us. By building a business which provides benefits to our customers, our community and our culture, with particular emphasis on the environment, we can achieve many long-lasting, positive outcomes.
